"Hi, I’m Kalyani Clarke, founder of Cape & Islands Nanny Network!

I’ve spent over eight years working closely with children, families, and caregivers—as a nanny, mentor, coach, and youth program leader—and I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be to find reliable, high-quality care. Living and working in a seasonal community has shown me just how critical it is to support not only families, but also the caregivers and local youth who make our community thrive.

That experience inspired me to start Cape & Islands Nanny Network: a trusted hub connecting families with experienced, vetted caregivers while providing the tools, training, and resources that make care relationships stronger and more sustainable. We do more than match families with care—we offer onboarding support, professional development for caregivers, guidance for families, and programs that uplift children, teens, and parents alike.

I specialize in strengthening the systems that surround children, families, and caregivers—helping organizations, programs, and families improve communication, recruitment, and overall effectiveness. My goal is simple: when families feel supported, caregivers are empowered, and programs run smoothly, children thrive.

I’m a proud graduate of Barnstable High School and hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential earned in 2024. Mentorship and youth empowerment have always been central to my work, and I currently serve as a Community Mentor and Cheerleading Coach at Barnstable High School. I’ve also worked with 4-H, Girl Scouts, and the YMCA Teen Achievers Program, helping teens grow confidence, decision-making skills, and leadership ability.

Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with my three younger brothers, celebrating my faith, and staying active. I bring the same energy, intention, and heart to my personal life as I do to every family and caregiver I support.
