As a career nanny, mentor, and entrepreneur, I’ve spent years working closely with children and families, witnessing firsthand how difficult it can be to find reliable, high-quality care. Living in a seasonal community has shown me the importance of supporting not only parents, but also local youth and professional caregivers—especially during the quieter winter months when isolation and instability can be real challenges.

Cape & Islands Nanny Network is more than just a service—it’s a trusted community. We connect families with experienced, reliable caregivers through a curated directory and offer flexible, à la carte support services to help simplify the hiring process and set everyone up for success.

We are not a placement agency and do not employ caregivers. Instead, we serve as a referral network, providing access to pre-screened caregivers alongside tools, resources, and guidance to help families make informed decisions. Families manage all hiring, payment, and care arrangements directly—we provide support, while families lead the way.

Safety First – Your child's well-being remains at the core of everything we do. While we no longer provide full placements, we offer families tools and optional services to confidently vet caregivers, including background checks, CPR/First Aid certification verification, and onboarding guidance.

Through our directory and customizable vetting services, you can build consistent, dependable care on your terms—even with backup options when your regular sitter isn’t available.

At Cape & Islands Nanny Network (CINN), we believe that exceptional childcare is more than just a service—it’s a pillar of strong, thriving communities. Empowering Local Youth – We provide mentorship and shadowing opportunities for responsible young caregivers (ages 11+) to gain experience, build confidence, and develop essential life skills that will serve them for years to come.

Supporting Families – Through our caregiver directory and flexible support services, we help families find quality childcare that fits their needs—from occasional babysitting to consistent, reliable care and enrichment opportunities.

Fostering Connections – Our CINN-exclusive events, workshops, and classes offer space for caregivers and families to connect, learn, and grow together—building a stronger, more connected community.

Our Play With Purpose program offers caregivers valuable training opportunities while making quality childcare more accessible to families from all walks of life.
